SUMMER MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA

Building A Solid Foundation for Music Ministry
What Better Place to Start Than with our Youth

 

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
We, the Igneous Youth Ministry of Flat Rock Baptist Church, would like to cordially
invite your Children or Youth Choir to join us in our Summer Music Extravaganza on July
22-24, 2011. The purpose of this event is to build, motivate, and cultivate our Youth in the area
of music ministry. The weekend will be packed full of music, food, fun, and fellowship. It is our
hope that children will leave the event more confident and motivated to praise and worship
God through song. On Friday there will be a workshop and rehearsal followed by a Pizza Party
and Ice Cream Blast. On Saturday the Youth will go through workshops and learn new songs
to be ministered on Sunday afternoon at our musical event. Workshop topics include: The
Reason Why We Sing, Proper Vocal Techniques, and Choir Etiquette. There will be door prizes
on Saturday and a fellowship cookout following the workshops. If your Youth are unable to
attend the workshops and rehearsals on Friday and Saturday, we would love to have your choir
to come and be a special guest on Sunday afternoon, July 24th at 4:00. This event is free to all
but registration is required so that everyone is accommodated. Please reply by Friday, July 8,
